ABOUT US
Our story begins in the early 90’s when we began to import rice from Egypt for our Bulgarian customers. Shortly afterwards we acquired agricultural land in the fertile plains around Plovdiv and started growing our own rice. We established our production base in Tsalapitsa, 20 km to the East of Plovdiv. Within a few years an old farmyard was turned into a modern facility. Today we are able to process 50 tons of paddy per day and on top of that we can pack 200 tons per 24 hours in retail packages.
We cover the full cycle – starting from the sowing of rice, through all stages of processing, packaging and transportation to the final customer in every corner of the world.

- Percentage of broken grains: 4-5 % max.
- Percentage of black grains: 0,5% max.
- Pesticide residues to be within international limits.
- Heavy metals (Mercury, lead and cadmium) according to the international limits.
- Free of any abnormal odour that indicates any damage to the rice.
- Not modified genetically ( Non GMO)

Characteristic variations of the different types of wheat are important agricultural considerations. Hard wheats include the strong wheats of Canada (Manitova) and the similar hard red spring (HRS) wheats of the United States. They yield excellent bread-making flour because of their high quality of protein (approximately 12-15%), mainly in the form of gluten. Soft wheats, the major wheats grown in the United Kingdom, most of Europe, and Australia, result in flour producing less attracting bread than that achieved from strong wheats. The loaves are generally smaller, and the crumb has a less pleasing structure. Soft wheats, however, possess excellent characteristics for the production of flour used in cake and biscuit manufacture.
